digged this up a while ago, i wrote it a few months back, feb i would think. so its some recollection of the war mournument in singapore we visited. its a haiku or whatever =)


The War Mournument (duh)

The War Mournument
Mourning Air force, Navy, Land
Terrible Memoirs.

Captured perfectly
Times of turmoil and hardship
The mood turns solemn.

Sacrifices made
Some successful, some in vain,
Though all heroic.

Battles, trench warfares
Many were killed, more were maimed
All for their country.

The bag piper plays
As the flags flow high, today
Remembering all

All men who have fought
To protect our heritage
We salute them all.
